| It hurts REAL BAD when you get hit
by a paintball. |
It all depends on your
mindset. If you hit the field thinking of only how bad it's going to
hurt, then guess what? It's going to hurt. However, if you get out there
wanting to WIN, then pretty much all that get's hurt is your pride. |
| It is okay or cool to play
paintball without a mask. |
This is the worst idea anyone
could ever have EVER. Your face is the most delicate part that can
be hit by a paintball. You can seriously damage your face if you
don't wear a mask during play or operation of a paintball marker.

| Some markers are more powerful and hit harder than
others. |
A marker does not cause a
paintball to hit harder. It is the velocity. All markers
have adjustable velocities and should be adjusted to the standard rate
determined by your field operator which is 300 feet per second (fps) or
lower. |
| Paintball is a guy sport. |
Aren't all sports? NO!
There are several all female teams that have played in high level tournaments
such as the Femme Fatales and the Fallen Angels. In fact, here at
Paintball FiXX, we've had a pretty good amount of female players. |
| Being hit in the head by a
paintball can cause brain damage. |
Me no brain hurt hit
paintballs. Tee hee hee! Squirrels! Seriously, though.
It may be one of the least favorable places to get hit, but there is not
enough blunt force impact to cause brain damage. |
| Paintballs can penetrate your
skin. |
Paintballs cannot penetrate your
skin. If our skin was indeed that weak, then it would probably
catch fire in the sun. |
| People have shot out car windows
with markers. |
Personally, I have not
accomplished this feat. We used to light up an old junked truck on
my land and never broke the windows. |
| Paintball is
dangerous. |
Only when not played
properly. If you fail to follow the rules of safety anywhere, in
any sport or activity, you put yourself in danger. |

Stop it. I have never
met anyone that has ever frozen paint and shot it at someone or has ever
been hit by frozen paint. The whole thing is just stupid. |
